MEQUON, Wis. - Despite forcing a pair of tight sets to open the match, the Edgewood College volleyball team couldn't quite get over the hump and fell to Concordia University Wisconsin 3-0 on Tuesday night. The Eagles pushed the Falcons in the first two sets 25-23 and 27-25 before falling 25-16 in the third set.
Senior Kim Paskey continued her hot hitting recording an attack percentage of .385 with a team-high seven kills. Paskey also added four assisted blocks at the net. Kristin Manske added five kills, while fellow freshman Abbi Schultz recorded three assisted blocks and a pair of aces.
Libero Kim Lueck had 20 digs while Emily Monson and Aryn Wellnitz each had 10 of their own. The Eagles topped .100 in attack percentage for the 10th time in their last 11 matches, hitting .118 as a team.
Edgewood College (4-15, 0-4 NAC) will return home for a pair of weekend matches. The Eagles will face Benedictine University on Friday night at 7:00 p.m. and Aurora University on Saturday at noon.
