Junior distance runner Natasha Zanoya started the 2016 track and field season off with a bang after breaking her own record in the 3,000 meters on Saturday at the UW-Platteville Select meet. She broke her previous record by 0.18 seconds to finish first with a time of 10:46.37. Her and teammate Piper Atnip were the only two runners to clock in with a sub-11:30 minute time out of the 15 competitors.
