At the Midwest Region Classic, Bruce fired a 54-hole total of 224, just eight over par, to finish tied for 17th in a field of 142 golfers. Bruce helped Edgewood College finish 6th out of 25 teams with his impressive performance. Bruce carded the best score out of the 46 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference golfers that participated.
