Doherty won the javelin throw at the UW-Platteville Invitational on Saturday. Doherty’s distance of 43.67 meters was best and goes down as second longest in program history. Doherty added an eighth place finish in the discus with a throw of 40.11 meters and placed 10th in the shot put with a mark of 12.25 meters.
