Doherty set the standard for Edgewood College women’s track & field throws at the Spartan Shootout. The junior posted an indoor school record and personal-best distance of 12.26 in the shot put to finish third in the event. Doherty’s shot put mark is good for fourth best in the NACC. Doherty followed that up with another school record in the weight throw. Her mark of 11.66 meters was good for ninth in the event and currently ranks 16th best in the NACC.
