Appino led team with seven hits and batted over .400 this weekend against Benedictine and Concordia-Chicago. The Rockford, Ill. native is currently on five-game hitting streak and registered his first three-hit game of the season in defeat to Benedictine on Saturday. He is now hitting .319 with six doubles and nine RBI on the season.
