-        Won the 5,000-meter run on Saturday at the NACC Outdoor Championships. Her time of 17:57.78 set the NACC championship record. Verbauwhede bested the time of Samantha Gries from Concordia Wisconsin. Gries’ previous record time of 18:08.70 was set back on May 7, 2011. Verbauwhede’s time goes down as ninth fastest in school history. She also added a third-place finish in the 1,500-meter run, crossing the line in 4:48.88.
