Freshman Laurissa Belott finished 9-for-16 (team best .563) in four games to open her career at the Finlandia Dome Tournament in Michigan. The Antigo, Wis. native also added four runs and tied a team-high with three RBIs while splitting time at third base and catcher. Belott had four hits and two runs in 12-11 loss to host Finlandia and three hits and two runs in 6-1 win over Northland. She hit a ground-rule double to break up a no-hitter in the sixth inning against UW-Superior for her first career hit.
