Alyse Peters became the fourth Eagle since 2012 to break the elusive 23-minute barrier and placed 61st in her final race at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regionals. The Fremont, Wis. native crushed her previous best, set two weeks ago at the NACC Championships, by nearly a minute-and-a-half and crossed the line in 22:28. Peters was 30 seconds away from a Top-35 finish and All-Region distinction and will finish as one of a handful of Eagle to ever break the 23-minute mark.
