Steve Gavin threw a complete game four-hitter on Sunday in an 11-1 win over Dominican University to help the Eagles to a sweep. He gave up one run on two hits in the fourth but surrendered just two more base hits the rest of the way. He needed 106 pitches and had 17 fly ball outs in the contest to improve to 3-1 on the year.
