Staver accounted for 21 of the Eagles' final 27 points in the final six minutes as the Eagles pulled away from Rockford, 85-72, last Saturday afternoon. The sophomore finished with 15 points and tied a season-high with six assists. He scored nine points on 60 percent shooting and three assists in narrow loss to Wisconsin Lutheran, 79-77, earlier in the week and now ranks fourth in assists (4.6 apg) during NACC play.
