Skylar joined the Edgewood University Family in August 2024 and serves as a certified athletic trainer for the Men’s Soccer, Women’s Basketball, Men’s Volleyball, Softball, Men’s Tennis and Women’s Tennis Teams. Skylar graduated from Monmouth College in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science before earning her Master of Science in Athletic Training from Concordia University Wisconsin in May 2024. Skylar spent time working with the Froedert Orthapedic Sport and Spine Center, Milwaukee Ballet, the UW-Milwaukee Swim & Dive team, and FC Milwaukee Torrent during various clinical rotations and summer immersion programs.

A three-year letter winner on the Monmouth College Water Polo Team. In 2020, she was the third woman in Monmouth water polo history to be named All-American by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches. Skylar was also a two-year member on the Monmouth Swimming and Diving team.  

Skylar is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Wisconsin Athletic Trainers’ Association. She holds American Red Cross BLS, Mental Health First Aid, Graston Technique certifications as well as QPR Institute Gatekeeper Suicide prevention training.
