Siobhan Gallagher enters her third season as an assistant coach with Edgewood University women’s soccer. A former four-year Edgewood University student-athlete from 2019–2023, Siobhan brings more than 20 years of playing experience and a strong understanding of the student-athlete experience to the program.
While competing at Edgewood University, Siobhan began coaching in the Madison area with Madison 56ers, where she has now spent five years working with youth players. She has also worked with youth soccer camps throughout the Madison and Wisconsin region, gaining experience developing players across a range of ages and skill levels.
In addition to her coaching responsibilities, Siobhan has been involved in recruiting for Edgewood University women’s soccer for the past three years. Her coaching philosophy centers on individual player development, building a strong team culture, fostering leadership growth, and supporting academic success. She is passionate about helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field and creating an environment where players can reach their full potential.
Siobhan earned an Undergraduate degree in Biology and later completed her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership and Change from Edgewood University. She currently works full-time at Edgewood University as a Business Advisor in Graduate and Adult Studies, further strengthening her connection to the university and its students.
Originally from Northern Illinois, she has been involved in soccer for more than 20 years and is passionate about continuing to contribute to the development of student-athletes and the soccer community.
