Career Summary
2019: Competed at nine meets in distance events…Placed second in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the NACC Outdoor Championships (May 3-4) with a time of 13:04.45…Ran a 5:18.34 in the 1,500-meter run at the UW-Whitewater Meet (April 26)…Moved onto the Eagles honor roll list for the 3,000 steeplechase as well as the 5,000-meter run, the 5,000-meter performance coming at the Washington University meet (March 30 – 19:50.82)…Finished fifth in the mile at the NACC Indoor Championships (February 23) and was on third-place DMR team.
High School: Participated in both track & field and cross country at Edgewood high school... All-city runner-up in the 1600m run, conference champion in the 3200m run, and regional champion in the 3200m run in her senior season... All-conference finisher led her team to win the Broadhead Invitational her senior year... Finished as sectional runner-up, most valuable runner, individual state qualifier, and Dan McClimon Memorial Award recipient in her senior year... Also participated in ice hockey at the varsity level, for the Madison Capitols and the Metro Lynx.
Personal: Daughter of Chris and Betsy McClimon... Earned High Honor roll four years in a row... Member of the National Honors Society... Writer for her school newspaper and co-president of the Catholic Crusader's Club... Various volunteer experience in the Dane County area... Major is Business.
