Career Statistics (Through 2019 Season)

2019: One of six Eagles to start all 20 matches…Served as one of the team’s top midfielders…Finished year with five points, scoring two goals and adding one assist…Fired 17 shots, 11 of those on goal…Topped all Eagles field players in minutes played with 1,718…Scored in an 8-0 win over Eureka College (September 17)…Added a goal in a NACC win at Lakeland University (October 16)…Assisted on a score in a NACC win against Rockford University (October 15)…Played 90-plus minutes 15 times, rarely coming off the field throughout the season…Played 6,170 minutes over career, the Eagles record since that number has been tracked (2008 season).

2018: Appeared in 14 matches, making 13 starts...Fired five shots, one of those on goal...Appeared in wins over Lakeland (October 3) and Maranatha Baptist (October 19). 

2017: Named All-NACC Second Team... Started all 19 of her appearances... Posted two assists, both in win over Alverno on Oct. 18, and put five of her nine shots on goal... One of five players on team with two or more assists... Finished third on the team with 1575 minutes played and was the primary ball handler in the middle.

2016: Named All-NACC First Team and Co-Freshman of the Year... Became first Eagle since 2008 and third Eagle overall to be named to both All-NACC First Team and Co-Freshman of the Year... Finished sixth on the team with three assists and was one of five players to start all 19 matches... Had one assist in each of three wins, including a 4-3 victory over North Park on Sept. 11... Attempted three shots with one shot on goal.

High School: Played at Denmark and earned First Team All-Conference, North Eastern Conference Defensive Player of the Year, and led the conference with 15 assists her senior season... 2016 Edgewood College Distinguished Scholar.

Personal: Daughter of Melissa Samson and Juan De Castro... Majoring in Biology.
