Darcy Kelly

Head women’s golf coach Darcy Kelly took over the Edgewood College program prior to the 2013-14 season.

Kelly comes to the Eagles as an experienced coach and golf instructor. For the past 12 years, she has instructed a multitude of golfers at Nine Springs Golf Course in Fitchburg. In addition to that, Kelly has served on the First Tee Program Education Committee, formerly known as the Madison Metro Youth Golf Initiatives, and teaches area youth golf and life skills that are attached to the game.

The Eagles' best results under coach Kelly were a pair of back-to-back, seventh-place NACC finishes over the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons.

In addition to coaching, Kelly has had a hand in teaching as she taught in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Wisconsin for 20 years as a physical activity program lecturer. Kelly has also taught a mini-course class in the summer at the UW.

Kelly was a member of the University of Minnesota-Minneapolis Women’s Golf team and graduated as a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Public Health.

Kelly lives in the area with her husband Pat. They have a daughter, Keelin, and a son, Ian.
