The 2023-2024 season marks Makailah Dyer's second year with the Eagles. The Madison-native has spent the last five years in Perth Australia where she has played basketball professionally for multiple teams, most recently the Eastern Suns. During this time, she was also a Head Varsity Girls' Basketball Coach and founded her own Girls' Basketball Academy, Her Hoops AU. 

Dyer earned her Master's degree in Kinesiology and played basketball for four years at the University of North Dakota. She tallied 1466 points, pulled down 434 rebounds, and dished out 313 assists throughout her successful career. Makailah was a graduate of Madison East High School where she also earned multiple All-State honors.
