Jamie Gutowski

Gutowski joined the Edgewood College women's basketball staff at the beginning of the 2009-10 season. She had previously been an assistant coach at her alma mater, Andrean High School in Merrillville, Ind., for the past two seasons.

Gutowski played collegiate basketball at Division I Valparaiso University, where she was a four-year letter winner. In her career, she helped the Crusaders to two Mid-Continent Conference Tournament titles and the first two NCAA Tournament berths in school history. A dangerous three-point threat, she shot 46.5 percent from the arc her senior year and finished fifth in school history in both three-pointers made and attempted. She was named to the All-Mid Con Tournament team in 2004 and was a three-time Academic All-Mid Con team member.

She graduated from Valparaiso in 2006 with a degree in Communications. She then served one year as  a Graduate Assistant coach under Keith Freeman, and her Master's degree in Sports Administration from Valparaiso in 2007.

Gutowski competed in basketball, volleyball, softball and track at Andrean High School and graduated in 2002. She is a native of Crown Point, Indiana.
