2018: Started 20 of her 23 appearances, primarily as pitcher and third baseman... Registered a .255/.269/.392 slash line with two home runs, one double, and five RBIs... Posted a team-best 3.82 ERA with a 4-3 record over 58.2 innings... Struck out 17 batters and started 10 of her 17 appearances... Nabbed a season-high four hits and two runs scored in win over Rockford, was part of a season-high five-game hit streak... Hit a solo home run against both Lakeland and Concordia Chicago... Earned first collegiate win after tossing 3.1 scoreless innings with two strikeouts against University of Pitt-Bradford on March 10, was the start of three straight victories... Threw 22.0 innings and posted a 1.91 ERA in six appearances during spring break trip... Tossed one complete game and 114 pitches in loss to Concordia Chicago on April 21.
High School: Played for West De Pere High School under head coach Tina Delpino... Named Second Team All-Conference with two home runs, 24 RBIs and a .437 batting average and helped lead team to Regionals as a senior... Made it to the second round of regionals and hit .379 as a team captain and MVP as a junior... Played Club softball for the Wisconsin Elite under head coach Ron Harke... Also played four years of varsity golf and was a two-time First Team All-Conference finisher and also made it to sectionals and Best in the Bay after one year of varsity basketball.
Personal: Daughter of Gary and Jenny Coppens... Majoring in Biology... Involved in National Honors Society and was Academic Athletic All-State... Member fo Student Council, FACE, SADD, and FBLA... Has family in Australia.

It gives me the opportunity to work hard and continue playing softball but also giving me a great academic atmosphere to reach my goal of becoming a nurse anesthetist. Also, it is the best of both worlds being enrolled in a small school but living in a exciting town like Madison."
