Jaime Vareka

Jaime Vareka joined the Edgewood College Men’s Volleyball coaching staff in December of 2019 as she helps prepare the Eagles build the program.

Vareka brings plenty of coaching experience to the Eagles at both the high school and club level. She currently serves as the lead coach for the Milwaukee Sting Volleyball Club (Madison United), as well as serving as the head coach for the Madison West Boys’ Volleyball program, a role she has held since 2015.

In 2018, Vareka became the first female to be selected as the Big Eight Conference Boys Volleyball Coach of the Year. She also has experience leading the Oregon High School Volleyball program and serves as an associate head coach with the USA Volleyball High Performance.

Vareka’s experience at both the club and high school levels will certainly help as the Eagles try and build together their first team for the 2021 season.

Vareka graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis in an online program at Ball State University.
