Andrew Swetlik joined the Edgewood College Track and Field program in 2010 and has coached the sprints, hurdles, relays, and both horizontal and vertical jumps. He is a USA Track and Field Level 1 and Level 2 certified coach, a member of the USTFCCCA, USA Track and Field, and the Wisconsin Track Coaches Association.

Swetlik's tenure at Edgewood College has been nothing short of remarkable, marked by his coaching of 19 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) event champions. He has also guided three athletes to outstanding athlete awards including Outdoor Conference Female Track Athlete of the Year, Outdoor Conference Freshman Athlete of the Meet, and Outdoor Men’s Track Athlete of the Meet. Under his guidance, the sprinters and jumpers have soared to new heights, shattering 24 individual event school records, and clocking the fastest times in all six sprint relays.
Before joining the Edgewood College Eagles, Swetlik was the head coach for the Westosha Central boys team, an assistant coach at Kenosha Tremper High School, and an assistant coach for Edgewood High School. While at Edgewood High School, he helped guide the Crusader girls to the 2002 WIAA Division 2 State Track and Field Championship.
Swetlik's journey in track and field is not just limited to coaching; as an athlete he was a five-time Wisconsin state champion with titles in the 100m, 200m, 400m relay and twice as a member of state champion football teams. Academically, Swetlik holds a degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a Masters in Business Administration from Edgewood College.
