Ryan began playing lacrosse in 7th grade. Ryan went on to help his high school win 4 district titles as well as two time all district honors. Ryan continued his lacrosse career at Concordia University Wisconsin where he appeared in 4 games as a freshman. He later went on to retire due to head injuries and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in sports management. While at Florida State University he coached Maclay Middle School to a North Florida Lacrosse Championship. Ryan continued coaching locally in Ft Lauderdale, FL. Post graduation, Ryan went on to work at Orlando City SC in their team operations department. While there, he helped with player and team travel, film, as well as equipment budgeting. 

Ryan graduated from Western High School where he played hockey and lacrosse. He has a sports management degree from Florida State University. Ryan plans to get his Masters of Business Administration with a focus on accounting while at Edgewood.
