2020-21: Competed in one meet during the fall before graduating in December…Fired a 75 at the Edgewood College Triangular (October 12).

2019-20: Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar…Played in 11 rounds during the fall season (spring season was canceled due to COVID-19)…Posted the second-best scoring average (77) on the team…Ranks fifth in Eagles history in career scoring average (77.15 over 67 rounds)…Captured medalist honors at the Midwest Region Classic (September 13-14) by firing rounds of 73 and 71…Also posted a 71 during the second round of the MSOE Invitational (September 29-30), which followed an opening 78, good for a t-11th finish…Shot in the 70s for eight of his 11 rounds during the season.

2018-19: Named a GCAA Division III Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar...Named All-NACC after finishing fourth at the NACC Championship with a four-round total of 304 (87-71-73-73)...NACC Scholar-Athlete...Finished the year with a scoring average of 76.33 and was one of three Eagles to play in all 21 rounds...Closed the season by tying for second at the Edgewood College Spring Invitational (May 3) after carding a 73...Fired a season-best 71 during round two of the NACC Championship (October 8)...Finished third at the Jim Wetherbee Invite (March 29-30) after posting a two-day total of 146 (72-74)...Tied for eighth at the WLC Spring Invitational (April 13) after recording a 76...Finished in the top 10 at four of the team's final six meets of the season. 

2017-18: NACC Scholar-Athlete...Shot the third-best scoring average (77.64) on the team with four Top-10s, two Top-5s, and one win over nine events and 18 rounds... Won his first career event with an even-par 72, his best round of the year, at the Edgewood College Spring Invitational... Shot 76-79-82-76 (313) to place seventh at the NACC Championships, his second-straight All-NACC finish... Tied for fifth with a 75-73 (148) at the Edgewood College Fall Classic, helped the Eagles to the team win and a 299 round... His scoring average of 77.64 was ninth-best in the NACC.

2016-17: NACC Scholar-Athlete...Tied for 8th of 56 golfers at the NACC Championships with a score of 81-77-79-79=316 and earned NACC Freshman of the Year honors... Only one of two freshmen to finish in the NACC Top-10... Finished second on the team with a 77.67 scoring average in seven events over 21 rounds... Posted seventh-best scoring average in NACC (77.67)... Added one Top-5 and four Top-10 finishes... Shot 12 of his 21 rounds between 77-82...  Earned NACC Men's Golf Student Athlete of the Week award from April 3-9... Posted a season-best two round score of 76-73=149 and tied for 8th of 175 golfers at the Midwest Region Classic on September 17-18... Shot a season-low 72 twice, including the Edgewood College Spring Invitational where he tied for second... Placed in the Top-15 in four of his last five meets... NACC Scholar-Athlete.

High School: Played at Baraboo where he finished Second Team All-State as a senior... Also earned First Team All-Conference, Badger Conference Tournament Medalist, Regional Tournament Medalist, Badger North Icebreaker Medalist, Team Captain, and Team MVP... As a junior was All-State Honorable Mention, First Team All-Conference, Team MVP, and the Division II Wisconsin Dells Invite Medalist... Team MVP sophomore year and advanced to Sectionals while winning the Green Devil and Nekoosa Invites... Posted averages of 37.5, 38.6, and 40.1 his last three seasons, respectively... Also played four years of hockey and advanced to the Sectional Finals... Had the mosst wins in a season in Baraboo hockey history, earned Team MVP, and named Team Captain.

Personal: Son of Gail and Cory Hinz... On the honor roll and involved in Key Club... Majoring in Accounting.
