Career Statistics

2011: Made two appearances in relief, pitching a total of 1.1 innings... Allowed no earned runs against Maranatha Baptist on April 29.

2010: Did not appear in any games due to injury.

2009: Threw 11.2 innings in six different relief appearences... Fired two perfect innings, including a career-high three strikeouts, against Lakeland to close a 19-3 victory over the Muskies... Gave up no earned runs and just two hits to Rockord and Dominican in appearences on back-to-back days... Finihsed the season with a 3.09 earned run average... NAC Scholar-Athlete.

2008: Gura appeared in five games, accumualting five innings of work... Allowed no hits in four of his five appearences... Gave up no hits and struck out one batter in 2.1 innings against nationally-ranked UW-Whitewater... Struck out two batters against Marian on April 23.

High School: Attended Aurora Christian High School... team captain in 2006 and 2007... Honorable Mention All-Conference in 2006 and All-Conference Best Defensive Player in 2007... Played basketball as a freshman where he was named MVP of the freshman team... Member of 2004 baseball team that recorded a school record 21 wins.

Personal: Parents are Joe Gura and Sherri McNulty... majoring in Clinical Psychology.
