Career Statistics (through 2018 season)

2018: 
Started three of his 13 appearances... Hit .188 with a .381 on-base percentage, three hits, two RBIs, and 11 runs scored... Scored a season-high three runs against Lakeland... Posted two RBIs against Newbury... Finished 9-for-9 on stolen base attempts.

2017: Started three of his nine appearances... Hit .231/.286/.308 with four runs, three hits, one double, and one RBI in 13 at-bats... Added on hit, one run, one RBI, and one double in win over Illinois Tech on April 22... Stole a base in six straight appearances from April 1 to April 28 and never got caught.

High School: Selected to Tapps 4A First Team All-District, the FCA All-Star game, and Super Centex Honorable Mention team as a senior... Won the Home to Home race... Was a top-5 stolen base leader for Central Texas and also hit .444 with an on-base percentage of .589 and 16 singles, six doubles, one triple, one home run, 19 walks, 18 RBI, 22 runs scored, and 24 stolen bases... Named Tapps 4A All-District Honorable Mention as a junior with a .263 batting average, .417 on-base percentage, five singles, four doubles, one triple, 10 walks, five RBIs, nine runs scored, and 17 stolen bases... Played club/AAU ball for the Colt 45's under head coach Stan Hough and Team Maxbat (Pat Hallahan)... Ran two years of varsity track as a junior and senior... Qualified for Regional Area in the 200m and 100m (11.08) and made it to the State relay in the 4x100m and 4x200m relays... Two-year Varsity member on the soccer team.

Personal: Parents are Trevor and Kem Wardlaw... Majoring in Criminal Justice... Won the Midway Panther Pride Award (Algebra), Midway High School Teacher Recognition Award (English), and Perfect Attendance Certificate... Member of the Business Professionals of American for three years and Spirit of Midway community service... Also volunteered for Reicher Catholic high school, FCA, and a local youth center... Likes to travel to Estes Park, Colo., took three years fo American Sign Language, and led his team in stolen bases.

Why Edgewood College: "I really like the town and how everything is so alive. It is much different compared to Texas. That is what I like about Madison, Wisconsin and Edgewood College. It is a small college located in a large city. I like the fact that I have the opportunity to continue to play baseball."
