2017: Started one of his 10 appearances on the mound... Recorded an 8.02 ERA, 0-2 record, and 15 strikeouts in 21.1 innings... Struck out a season-high five batters in loss vs. MSOE on April 15... Tossed two scoreless innings of relief in defeat against Illinois Tech on April 22... Gave up just one earned run over final three appearances (4.0 innings)... Finished fourth on team with 10 appearances and fifth in innings pitched (21.1).

High School: Won the conference and named to the First Team All-Conference team after finishing with a .421 batting average under head coach Matt Chitwood... Named First Team All-Conference as a junior with a .581 batting average, including .633 in conference play, and was selected to the Second Team All-Conference team as a sophomore... Played club/AAU ball for the Wisconsin Warriors under head coach Chad Lay... Three-year varsity member of basketball team that won the Regional championship during sophomore year.

Personal: Parents are Rich and April... Majoring in Business... Horton likes spending time with his brothers and watching them play baseball, basketball, and football, and would love to go to Alabama some day.
