2006: Appeared in 17 games, including eight starts … batted .375 in 32 at bats and had three stolen bases and 6 RBIs.

High School: All-Big 12 centerfielder at Normal Community West (Ill.) High School under head coach Chris Hawkins … set the school single-season record with 34 stolen bases and established a new career mark for stolen bases (45) … finished 8-0 with a 2.56 ERA as a pitcher his senior season … helped the Wildcats to regional championships in 2004 and 2005 … participated in the 2005 Illinois Coaches Association state all-star game and Intercity Pantagraph all-star game … two-time Big 12 Scholar Athlete.
