Rich Wachholz

Coach Wachholz has been on Coach Brisack's staff from day one and is a big reason for the Eagles’ success.  The Edgewood College graduate is entering his 14th season as an assistant baseball coach. He currently works with the team's hitters and catchers.  In past seasons he has also worked with the pitchers, outfielders, and baserunners.

He has helped Coach Brisack coach and develop 27 all-conference and six all-region performers along with two academic all-americans.

Rich was an All-Conference catcher for the Eagles known for his great enthusiasm and intensity when playing.  He is still among Edgewood College's career leaders in walks and hit by pitches and holds the single season hit by pitch record for Edgewood College.  This passion has continued in his coaching.  His enthusiasm and love of competition are contagious to the players he works with.

Coach Wachholz resides in Albany, Wisconsin with his wife Michelle, daughter Payton, and sons Beckett and Brooks.  He enjoys spending his free time fishing, gardening and competing in triathlons.
