Max Orput returns for his fourth year on the Eagles' coaching staff in 2023-24. Coach Orput serves as the Program’s Recruiting Coordinator and Infield Coach. Under Orput's guidance, the Eagles' interior defense turned more doubles plays and had a higher fielding percentage than the previous five years. 

An Edgewood College graduate, Max was an infielder for the Eagles ('18-21) before earning a BA in Business Marketing. Prior to attending Edgewood College, he attended Rock Valley College where he earned an Associate's Degree and was a member of the baseball team ('16-18).

The Rockford, Illinois native is currently working towards his MS in Organizational Leadership & Change at Edgewood College and serves as the Head Coach of the Johnson Creek Mapaches of the Dairyland Collegiate League. 

Coach Brisack on Max - "Max's biggest attribute is his positive outlook. He brings that positive energy to everything he takes on and it is contagious. Our infielders really improved under Max's guidance. He is willing to turn over any rock to help them get better and they know it. He was a great addition to our baseball program as a player but, even more so, as a coach."
