2021: Appeared in 34 games, making 32 starts…Collected 23 hits with two doubles…Scored 25 runs and drove in 17…Walked 18 times…Recorded a .951 fielding percentage and turned a team-high 16 double plays…Launched first career home run against Lakeland University (April 11)…Added a 2-for-2 performance with two runs against MSOE (May 9)…Went 3-for-4 with one run and three RBI in game one of a doubleheader sweep of Rockford University (April 3)…Tallied seven multi-hit games.
2020: Appeared in two games and started one in the shortened season (COVID-19).
2019: Appeared in 22 games, making seven starts...Collected four hits, including two doubles, and scored three runs...Walked five times...Went 2-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored against Southern Vermont College (March 18)...Reached base three times with a hit and two walks in game two at Eureka College (April 10).
2018: Started two of his 11 appearances... Scored four runs and registered one hit... Posted first career hit against Carroll... Recorded four walks and a .429 on-base percentage.
High School: Played for Wheeling High School (Ill.) under head coach Jason Wieder... Broke school record with 25 walks as a senior and registered a .450 on-base percentage while helping team to best record in five years... Played AAU/club baseball for the Illinois Indians under head coach Nikko Androitis.
Personal: Son of Lucy and David Niznik... Majoring in Accounting/Business... Volunteered through DECA and Hoops for Africa.
