2022: Competed in five indoor meets and six outdoor meets...Primarily ran in the 800 and 4x400-meter relay team during the indoor season...Recorded a fourth place finish (4:51.93) in the mile at the Ripon Winter Open (December 4)...Posted a 52.79 PR in the 400-meter at the NACC Outdoor Championships (May 6-7)...Recorded a a 2:02.35 PR in the 800-meter run in final meet of his career, the Carious/Gregory Invitational (May 13).
2021: Competed at one indoor meet and four outdoor meets…At lone indoor meet, the Aurora Grand Prix (February 27), he ran a 5:00.29 in the mile and finished seventh…Posted a PR time of 25.12 in the 200-meter dash at the Green & White Invite (April 24)…Added a PR of 54.83 in the 400-meter run at the NACC Outdoor Championships (May 7-8).
2020: Competed at five meets during the indoor season…Outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19…Was on the school-record setting DMR team at the NACC Indoor Championships (February 29), helping the squad run a 10:44.48, good for a second-place finish…Was also on the second-place DMR team at the UW-Platteville Select (February 1)…Posted a season-best time of 2:04.78 in the 800-meter run at the NACC Championships, finishing eighth.
2019: NACC Scholar-Athlete...Competed at 10 meets, mostly in mid-distance and distance events…Ended the season on a strong note with PRs in two of final three meets, running a 4:23.10 in the 1,500 at the NACC Outdoor Championships (May 3-4) and a 2:03.80 in the 800 at the Eagle Open (May 10)…The time in the 800 moved him into eighth on the Eagles honor roll…Placed fourth in the 3,000-meter run at the Good Friday Open (April 19) with a time of 10:24.13.
High School: Ran at Monona Grove high school... Led his team to a conference championship in 2017 and 2018, a regional championship and sectional championship in 2018, and conference runner-up in 2016... Qualified for sectionals in the 4x800m as a junior, and the 4x400m as a senior... Participated in varsity cross country where he helped his team finish in first place at the Beloit Memorial Sectional and the Badger South conference meet as a senior... Placed fourth at the DI states his senior year... Named second team all-conference and team captain as a senior... Personal best in the 5k sits at 17:14.2... Helped his team finish first in the conference, second at sectionals, and as state qualifiers his junior year.
Personal: Son of Bradley and Kristen Krause... Named to the High Honor roll... Member of the National Honors Society, jazz band, orchestra, and district and state solo & ensemble groups...
