2019-20: Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholar…NACC Scholar-Athlete...Played in 11 rounds during the fall season (spring season was canceled due to COVID-19)…Finished year with a 77.18 scoring average…Earned a t-2nd finish at the WLC Fall Invitational (September 21), firing a season-best 73…Shot in the 70s during 10 of his 11 rounds throughout the season…Finished t-13th at the NACC Championship (October 6-7), which included a second-round 78.
2018-19: Named All-NACC after placing second at the NACC Championships with a four-round total of 296 (79-69-75-73)...NACC Scholar-Athlete...His four-round total was the second lowest in NACC Championship history...Finished the year with a scoring average of 75.95 over 19 rounds, the second lowest average on the team...Closed season with medalist honors at the Edgewood College Spring Invitational (May 3), firing a 72...Shot a season-low round of 69 during round two of the NACC Championship on October 8...Fired a 71 in the opening round of the WLC Fall Invitational (September 22-23) and followed that with a 75 for a two-round 146, finishing fourth at the event...Carded a 73 during round two of the MSOE Invitational (October 1).
2017-18: NACC Scholar-Athlete...Competed in 11 rounds over seven events... Posted an 80.7 scoring average and shot a season-best round of 76 in season-opening Edgewood College Fall Classic... Tied for 11th at Edgewood College Spring Invitational... Posted a season-best two-round score of 157 at UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational on September 10... NACC Scholar-Athlete.
High School: Played at Lancaster high school under head coach Brad Sturmer... Throughout his decorated career, he has been named Conference Player of the Year, is a four-time First Team All-Conference selection, named Academic All-State four times, top-25 at State four times, including one Top-10 performance, one State team championship, two-time Regional tournament champion, Team MVP twice, and was a three-time Team's Most Dedicated Player award recipient... As a senior, placed fourth at Conference and fifth at Regionals as a team and also individually named Conference Player of the Year and finished seventh at State... Carried a 77 scoring average with a 70 personal best in his final season... As a junior, placed fifth as team at Conference and won the individual Conference and Regional tournament championships while later placing 14th at State... Averaged a 79 with a personal best of 72... In his sophomore season, his team won the Regional Tournament and finished third at State and individually named First Team All-Conference and Top-25 at State as his team's most Dedicated Golfer while averaging 80 throughout the year... As a freshman, won the State team championship, finished 18th individually at State, and earned the Most Outstanding Freshman Award... Averaged 84 as a freshman... Also a three-year varsity football member who was named Academic All-State and won the State Championship in 2014 and a Conference Championship in 2016... Played two years of varsity basketball.
Personal: Son of Dan and Carla Hentrich, brother Zach is former player on Edgewood College men's golf team... On High Honor Roll and member of National Honor Society... Also involved in French Club, Leo Club, and Math Club... Volunteered as a church server, Little Arrows youth basketball, golf outings, pastry sales, Bingo, blood drives, a junior golf program, and youth football... Is a good ping pong player, has been to Jamaica, and is the youngest of four siblings.
