2020-21: NACC Scholar-Athlete…One of three Eagles to start all 17 games…Averaged 19.8 minutes per contest…Scored 7.1 points per game and pulled down 4.9 rebounds per game…Shot 45.8 percent from the floor…Scored a season-high 14 points on two separate occasions, in a win over Rockford (January 23) and in a win at Lakeland (February 20)…Dished out a career-best four assists in a win over Concordia Wisconsin (February 5)…Pulled down a season-high 10 rebounds in a win at Marian (January 31).
2019-20: NACC Scholar-Athlete...Was the only Eagle to start all 25 games during the season…Averaged 25.1 minutes per game…Led team in rebounding, pulling down 5.3 per contest…Averaged 10.6 points per game…Led team with 23 blocks…Shot 50.2 percent from the floor…Also shot 40 percent (8-for-20) from 3-point range…Scored a career-best 22 points at Benedictine University (December 4)…Posted first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 11 rebounds in a NACC win over Lakeland (January 15)…Tied the 11 rebounds later in the season at Aurora (February 18) and added 17 points for second double-double…Scored in double figures 13 times…Blocked two shots in each of the last four games of the season.
2018-19: NACC Scholar-Athlete...Appeared in all 26 games, averaging 10.4 minutes per game...Scored 3.2 points per game and pulled down 2.3 rebounds per contest...Shot 45.8 percent from the floor...Recorded career highs of 11 points and six rebounds in a win over Concordia Chicago (February 14)...Scored nine points against Aurora (February 12)...Grabbed five rebounds in wins at Concordia Chicago (December 1) and Dominican (January 15).
2017-18: NACC Scholar-Athlete...Averaged 3.9 minutes off the bench in 19 appearances... Scored five points and gathered eight rebounds... Posted a season-high four points in 11 minutes against Benedictine... Secured a season-high three rebounds against Concordia Wisconsin.
High School: Played at Green Bay Preble under head coach Jim Wall where he was a team captain and named Second Team All-Conference as a senior... Finished second in scoring and third in rebounding in the conference and was selected to WBCA D1 North All-Star team his final year after averaging 19.8 points and 8.6 rebounds... Averaged 21 points at the 2016 Adidas Holiday Slam in Miami, Fla. with a game-high 29 points on 6 of 9 three-point shooting... Also ran four years of varsity track and field... Earned First Team All-Conference in the 4x100m relay and 4x200m relay, honorable mention in the 200m dash... Qualified for sectionals in all three of these events and was state finalist in the 4x100m relay.
Personal: Parents are Craig and Lori Buss... Graduated with high honors... Member of the National Honor Society, Sting Cancer, and DECA... Received the Civic Engagement Award for Community Service each year in high school... Avid Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Penguins fan... Majoring in Psychology.
