2020-21:
CoSIDA First Team Academic All-American, the first Eagles Men’s Basketball player to secure those honors…CoSIDA First Team Academic All-District…NACC North Player of the Year…WBCA Division III Private College Player of the Year…First Team All-NACC selection…NACC Scholar-Athlete…One of three Eagles to start all 17 games…Led team with 36.6 minutes per game…Led the Eagles by averaging 16 points per game and 4.5 assists per contest…Finished second on the team with 5.1 rebounds per game…Shot 48.7 percent from the floor, 43.2 percent from 3-point range, and 73.4 percent from the foul line…Scored in double figures in every conference game during the season…Poured in 23 points in a NACC Tournament win over Concordia Wisconsin (March 3)…Scored a season-high 26 points at MSOE (February 12)…Dished out a tied for career-best eight assists in back-to-back wins over Marian (January 30 and January 31)…Shot 12-for-14 in the two wins over Marian as well..

2019-20: Second Team All-NACC selection…NACC Scholar-Athlete...Appeared in 21 games, making 20 starts…Averaged 33.1 minutes per contest…Finished second on the team in scoring at 17.1 points per game, while also leading the Eagles in assists with 4.3 per contest…Added 4.5 rebounds, and one steal per game…Shot 45.8 percent from the floor and 80.1 percent from the free throw line…Poured in a season-best 32 points, while going 14-for-19 from the free throw line in a win over Concordia Chicago (December 1)…Flirted with a triple-double by scoring 24 points with a career-high eight assists, while adding eight rebounds at Illinois Tech (February 1)…Posted a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Dominican (January 21)…Scored 28 points at Aurora (February 18)...Scored 20-plus points six times and finished in double figures in all but two games. 

2018-19: First Team All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference...NACC Scholar-Athlete...Appeared in all 26 games, making 25 starts...Averaged 30.6 minutes per contest...Finished fourth in the conference and led the Eagles by averaging 18.2 points per game...Led the conference in free throws made (138) and attempted (177)...Ranked 30th nationally in free throw attempts and 33rd in free throws made...Pulled down 3.8 rebounds per game...Totaled 79 assists and 18 steals...Shot 44.6 percent from the floor and 78 percent from the free throw line...Named the NACC Student-Athlete of the Week (January 13)...Scored a career-best 37 points, including going 6-for-12 from 3-point range, in a win at Concordia Chicago (December 1)...Netted 24 points against No. 2 UW-Oshkosh (November 20)...Tallied 28 points in a win at Benedictine (January 12)...Dished out a season-best six assists against UW-Oshkosh...Scored in double figures in all but three games, including reaching double figures in 15-straight games to end the season...Scored 20-plus points on 11 different occasions.

2017-18: NACC Scholar-Athlete...Averaged 28.0 minutes in 27 appearances, including 25 starts... Finished second on the team in scoring (11.9) and assists (2.3) and third in rebounding (3.9)... Led team with 47 3-pointers made and shot 36.2 percent from behind the arc... Scored a career-high 25 points with five 3-pointers and eight rebounds in win over MSOE in the first round of the NACC tournament... Scored in double figures in 18 games, including seven straight games in January... Recorded lone double-double of the season with 16 points and career-high 13 rebounds in second meeting against Aurora... Dished out a career-high six assists against Dominican and registered four or more assists in eight games.

High School: Played at Janesville Craig High School under head coach Mike Miller and set a single season school record for most made three-pointers with 166... Helped Coach Miller to his best conference record (12-6) in his tenure and was named Big Eight Honorable Mention All-Conference and team captain... Averaged 10 points, 53 percent field goal shooting, 32 percent three-point shooting, 72 percent on free throws, and 3.0 assists... Was also Big Eight Honorable Mention and team captain as a junior and sophomore... Played for AAU team Wisconsin Swing under head coach Justin Litscher.

Personal: Son of Rick Negus... Valedictorian of high school class with 4.0 GPA, in National Honors Society, DECA State qualifier, Spanish Academic Excellence award, and WIAA Scholar Athlete... Also involved in yearbook, prom committee, and Letterman's Club... Volunteered through National Honors Society at numerous community activities and was a youth basketball instructor/counselor... Traveled out of the country multiple times, is passionate about the game of golf, and plans on owning his own business someday... Majoring in Business with a concentration in Finance & Marketing.
