2014: Competed in three races and improved time in each one... Finished the UW-Platteville Invite in 26:26.9... Finished 31st at the Wisconsin Private College Championships in 26:06.4... Recorded top time of the season at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional in 25:53.9... NACC Scholar-Athlete.

2013: Opened the season with a time of 17:31 over 4,000 meters at the UW Badger Opener... Ran a season-best 25:46.31 at the NACC Championships on November 2, placing 25th overall... Clocked in at an even 26:00 at the Rhodes College Invitational.

2012: Began the season running the second fastest time for Edgewood College at the Badger Opener on September with a 21:25... One week later again turned in the second fastest time on the team with a 26:34 at the 6,000 meter Warhawk Invitational... Posted a season best 20:59.49 at the Greater Louisville Invitational... In her final race of the season at the Northern Athletics Conference Championships, posted the fastest 6,000 meter time of her season with a  26:01. 

2011: Earned All-Northern Athletics Conference honors... Placed 12th at the Northern Athletics Conference Championships with a personal-best 6,000 meter time of 25:02.6... Finished 23rd at the Loras College Tucker Invitational on October 14 with a time of 25:32.6... Ran 25:35.8 at the NCAA Midwest Regional on November 12 to place 161st... Posted her best 5,000 meter time of 20:04 at the National Catholic Invitational on September 16... Placed 18th at the Lake Forest College Forester Invitational with a time of 20:45 on September 24... Named Edgewood College women's cross counrty athlete of the week from September 12-18.

High School: Four time state qualifier in cross country and track at Lake Mills High School... Set a school record with a time of 14:56 at the 4,000 meter distance... Was the Capitol North Conference champion in 2007... Placed eight at state with a time of 15:22... Named conference performer of the year in 2007... Won the conference meet again in 2009 and was named conference performer of the year for the second time... 2009 Performer of the year in basketball.

Personal: Parents are Brent and Gwen Hering... Major is Early Childhood Education (Special and Regular Education) with a minor in Ethnic Studies and ESL.
