MENOMONIE, Wis. – The Edgewood University women's soccer team traveled to UW-Stout on Friday evening for a non-conference contest under the lights. The Blue Devils attack proved too much for the Eagles on Friday, as UW-Stout took home a 4-0 win.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- A pair of first half goals gave UW-Stout (2-0) an early convincing lead on Friday evening. Kayla White netted the first of two goals via penalty kick in the 13th minute.

- Tia Rubow scored an unassisted goal in the 38th minute for a 2-0 Blue Devil lead at halftime.

- Edgewood University (0-2) struggled to find an offensive rhythm in the first half, taking no shots and allowing nine shots from UW-Stout.

- Madeline Brown recorded two saves in the first half for the Eagles to help keep the contest close going into the break.

- UW-Stout added a pair of assisted goals in the second half. The first came from Tessa Pagel in the 57th minute, while White added her second goal of the evening in the 74th minute.

- Riley Haertle recorded the only shot for Edgewood University in the second half.

- Savannah Sheehan saw her first action in an Eagle uniform on Friday, recording 16 minutes in net.

THE OPPOSITION
- Kayla White led UW-Stout with two goals and one assist.

- Tessa Pagel and Tia Rubow each scored for the Blue Devils.

- Kristen Silenzi went the distance in net for UW-Stout.
