Bowling claims Academic Awards from NTCA

PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The Edgewood University women's bowling team was honored for their academic achievements by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA). The Eagles had three players earn NTCA All-Academic Scholar-Athlete recognition, while also being named an NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team.

The NTCA All-Academic Team honors collegiate bowlers who have excelled in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of the sport. To be eligible, student-athletes must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.4 during the academic year. The Eagles three players to receive the honor were: Madeline Brown, Brooklyn Kummerow, and Adrianna Potter.

In addition to the All-Academic Scholar-Athlete recognition, The Eagles were named among the All-Academic Scholar Teams by the NTCA. The team award recognizes programs across all divisions with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The Eagles finished the 2025-26 academic year with an impressive 3.446 team GPA. The Eagles team GPA ranked 33rd nationally.
