MADISON, Wis. – The Edgewood University men's tennis team has been recognized on the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Andrew Hoffmann, Jon Olafsson, and Marek Woytasik landed honors for their performance on the court, and outstanding in the classroom.

On the court, Hoffmann (Hartford, Wis.) had a strong senior campaign for the Eagles. Hoffmann finished eight wins in both singles and doubles action during the 2025-26 season. In conference play, Hoffmann claimed key doubles wins over Concordia Chicago and Wisconsin Lutheran. In the classroom, Hoffmann is a psychology and neuroscience major carrying a 3.80 career GPA.

Olafsson (Slinger, Wis.) was key for the Eagles in the No. 2 singles slot in his junior season. Olafsson claimed eight wins in singles action and nine wins in doubles play. Six of the junior's wins at singles play came in the No. 2 slot, but he added two key No. 1 singles wins for the Eagles on the season. In the classroom, Olafsson is an accounting major carrying a 3.57 career GPA.

Woytasik (Stevens Point, Wis.) was a consistent presence in the Eagles lineup during the 2025-26 season. The junior owned seven singles wins and six doubles wins on the year. Woytasik claimed three wins in both the No. 3 and No. 4 singles spots in the 2025-26 campaign. In the classroom, Woytasik is a biology major carrying a perfect 4.00 career GPA.
