MADISON, Wis. – Men's Tennis continued non-conference action Saturday. They faced off with the Wartburg Knights at the Powless Center. The Eagles (3-4) got back on track with a 5-2 victory over the Knights (4-5).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood University earned the doubles point.

Ryder Broadbridge teamed up for a 6-3 win in top doubles billing, while

Jon Olafsson earned a 6-4 victory.

Ryan Casey fell just shy in a 7-6 (8-6) thriller in third doubles.
- In singles, Broadbridge cruised to a 6-0, 6-1 victory in top billing. Olafsson cut short a comeback effort to win 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-6) in the second slot.

Justin Hutchcroft bounced back after his second set to win 6-4, 1-6, 1-0 (10-6). Woytasik conceded a 1-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-6) defeat in no. 4 singles.
- Hoffmann continued his strong day with a 6-2, 6-3 victory in the fifth slot. Casey fell 6-2, 6-1 in sixth billing.

Edgewood University will head to Minnesota for a pair of matches next week. They'll kick things off on Friday against Macalester in Minneapolis, Minn. First serve is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
