HOW IT HAPPENED
- It didn't take long for the Edgewood University (6-5-3, 6-1-1 NACC) to find the back of the net on Wednesday evening, as Noah Shook netted his first goal as an Eagle in the 4th minute. Edgewood University took advantage of chaos in the box, as Shook assisted by Isaiah Stiebel took an early 1-0 lead.
- Connor Gage netted his first goal of the evening in the eighth minute. The junior dribbled through the box and found the inside right post for a 2-0 lead.
- Stiebel netted a goal of his own via penalty kick in the 26th minute. Edgewood University led Marian University (1-11-1, 1-7-0 NACC) 3-0 going into halftime.
- Cristian Torres-Gale got in on the scoring action just five minutes into the second half. The senior's second goal of the season was assisted by Ryan Hardy.
- Gage scored his second goal of the night in the 69th minute. Haris Sarajlija sent a pass into the box towards Ryan Hardy who headed the ball towards Gage's right foot. Gage's one touch finish solidified the shutout victory for the Eagles.
- Edgewood University outshot Marian 26-4 on the evening. The Sabres put just one ball on net in the conference contest, which was saved by Ezra Wallace.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE

- Gage also owns 94 career points, which ranks third best in program history.
