WAUWATOSA, Wis. – The Edgewood College softball team closed out the 2025 season on the road at Wisconsin Lutheran College on Saturday. The Eagles took home the sweep, defeating the Warriors 2-1 and 4-2 on Saturday.
EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 2, WISCONSIN LUTHERAN 1
- An RBI single off the bat of Grace Ott plated both runs for Edgewood College (14-25, 9-14 NACC) in game one. A pair of singles from Natalie Fields and Olivia Hebert loaded the bases to give Ott the perfect opportunity.
- Lauren Prigge earned her ninth victory of the season on Saturday. The freshman struck out a career-best nine batters in the complete game.
- Hebert went 4-for-4 at the plate for the Eagles, adding a double in the fifth inning.
- Fields went 2-for-4 for the Eagles in the leadoff spot, scoring a run.
EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 4, WISCONSIN LUTHERAN 2
- Edgewood College opened game two with single runs in the first and second innings. An RBI single from Hebert plated Fields in the first inning for a 1-0 advantage. The Eagles extended their lead to two runs as an RBI double from Gracie Halfman plated Lily Mabs.
- Wisconsin Lutheran College (9-29, 4-20 NACC) tied the contest in the bottom of the second inning, as single to center field scored two Warrior runners.
- The Eagles and Warriors would play three scoreless innings before two Eagle runs came across to score via errors from the Wisconsin Lutheran defense.
- Hebert went 2-for-3 at the plate in game two. The senior recorded a double.
- Mabs roped a triple, scored a run and drove in an Eagle.
- Grace Baugnet earned the start in the circle for the Eagles. Kaitlin Pratt took home the win, throwing five innings and only allowing two hits.
