CHICAGO, ILL. – Men's Tennis continued NACC action Friday. They headed south to face off with the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks. The Scarlet Hawks (8-8, 3-1 NACC) controlled the match, earning a 7-0 sweep against the Eagles (6-13, 1-4).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Illinois Tech set the tone early with a 6-1 victory against
Jon Olafsson and
Marek Woytasik in top doubles.
Justin Hutchcroft and
Taite Thomas fell 6-3 in the second slot.

Andrew Hoffmann and
William Faley conceded a 6-4 result in no. 3 doubles.
- The Scarlet Hawks kept momentum rolling into singles. They knocked down
Ethan Towne 6-0, 6-0 in the sixth slot and Woytasik 6-0, 6-0, in no. 4 singles.
- Hoffmann conceded a 6-1, 6-0 tally in no. 3 singles and Hutchcroft a 6-0, 6-0 final in the second slot.
- Thomas dropped a 6-1, 6-2 result in fifth billing and Olafsson a 6-0, 6-3 mark in the top slot.
