ORLANDO, FLA. – Men's Tennis wrapped up their Spring Break stay in Florida Thursday with a pair of nonconference tilts. They took on the Springfield Pride and the St. Lawrence Saints. The Eagles (4-9) dropped a pair of 7-0 losses to the Pride (7-1) and Saints (8-6).
MATCH ONE: SPRINGFIELD 7, EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 0
- The Pride took down
Justin Hutchcroft and
Andrew Hoffmann 6-0 in top doubles, before a 6-2 victory over
Jon Olafsson and
Marek Woytasik clinched the doubles point for the Pride.

Taite Thomas and
William Faley dropped a 6-0 final in third billing.
- Olafsson conceded a 6-1, 6-2 tally in no. 1 singles. Hutchcroft fell to a 6-1, 6-0 margin in the second slot.
- Springfield knocked down Hoffmann 6-0, 6-1 in third singles before defeating Woytasik 6-1, 6-1 in the fourth slot.
- Thomas lost a 6-3, 6-0 bout in no. 5 singles. Faley wrapped up the match with a 6-0, 6-0 loss in the sixth slot.
MATCH TWO: ST. LAWRENCE 7, EDGEWOOD COLLEGE 0
- The Saints claimed 6-1 victories over Hoffmann/Woytasik in top billing and Hutchcroft/Thomas in the second slot for the doubles point.
- Olafsson/Faley fell 6-2 in the third slot.
- St. Lawrence continued to roll into singles. Olafsson conceded a 6-0, 6-3 final in the top slot, while Hutchcroft lost 6-3, 6-1 in no. 2 singles.
- The Saints took down Hoffmann in the third slot 6-4, 6-0 and Woytasik in the fourth slot 6-4, 6-1.
- Thomas dropped a 6-2, 6-3 tally in no. 5 singles, while Faley lost 6-1, 6-0 in the sixth slot.

The Eagles will kick off NACC action on the road Thursday. They'll travel to face off with the MSOE Raiders. First serve is to be announced.
