GOODMAN, Miss. – Edgewood College wrapped up their stay in Mississippi Sunday. They faced off with the Millsaps Majors in game three of their series. The Majors (4-0) earned a 6-5 victory over the Eagles (0-3) with a walk-off grand slam.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Brevin Brisack got Edgewood College on the board early with a double to plate a run. Millsaps responded with a sacrifice fly to center field to even things at 1-1 after the first.
- Both teams went scoreless until the fifth. The Eagles took advantage of Majors miscues as
Terry Tolliver Jr. scored an unearned run with a single to right field. Millsaps answered with a single to left field in the bottom of the frame as the teams remained tied 2-2 after five.

Kyle Prindle and
Jacob Carney put Edgewood College ahead in the seventh. Both hit singles up the middle to tally a run each for a 4-2 lead after seven. A sacrifice fly to center field from
Ryan Ambrosy in the eighth added on another run as the Eagles led 5-2 heading into the ninth.
- The Majors loaded the bases with one out with help from a hit by pitch and a walk in the bottom of the ninth. Bradley Pelle cleared the bases with a walk-off grand slam to claim a series sweep.
- Brisack hit 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI.
Dominic Lee and
Hayden Hellenbrand each had two hits and a run.

Kyle Prindle reached base four times with three walks and a hit.

Drew Lenz pitched four innings of one-run ball, while
Kris Hahn added on another three innings with one earned run and a pair of strikeouts.
- Wil Wood threw six innings in the start for Millsaps. He fanned seven Edgewood College batters and allowed one earned run.

Baseball will take a couple of weeks off before returning to action in March. They'll travel to Pensacola, Fla. for the Studer's Blue Wahoos Stadium Challenge. Play starts Tuesday, March 11 as they take on Grinell at 3:00 p.m. and Sewanee at 6:00 p.m.
