WAVERLY, Iowa – The Edgewood College men's cross country team competed at the John Kurt Invitational hosted by Wartburg College. Brett Cox paced the Eagles in the 6K race, finishing 57th in the 72-runner field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Edgewood College was paced by Cox as he finished with a personal-best time of 21:43.2.
- Nick Pacubas finished his first collegiate 6K distance in 23:04.3, good for 68th place.
- Kadin Wojcik wasn't far behind, rounding out the Eagles lineup with a PR time of 24:33.8.
RACE RESULT
- Host team Wartburg collected the team victory, with nine runners in the top 10 (19 points). Cornell College was the meet runner-up with 46 points.
- Tyler Schermerhorn was the top individual with a time of 18:07.1.

- The Eagles will compete at the UW-Whitewater Tom Hoffman Invite on Saturday, September 21. Action is set for 10:45 a.m. from Whitewater, Wis.
