Eagles Men's Golf Preview

The Edgewood College men's golf team enters year two under head coach Matthew Davidson as they hit the course for the 2024-25 season. In his first year at the helm, the Eagles finished third in the NACC Championships.

“I am really looking forward to this season," said Davidson. "We have a solid core group of players from last season, and we were able to bring in a nice group of new players.”

2024 Men's Golf Fall Schedule

The Eagles are scheduled for eight tournaments in the fall, beginning with hosting the Culver's Edgewood College Fall Classic on August 30-31. The WLC Fall Invitational on September 14-15 will give Edgewood College action against conference foes. They will play at the Midwest Region Fall Classic starting on Friday, September 20 and will have a tune-up for the conference championships at the UW-Stout Invitational starting on Sunday, September 29. The fall season will conclude October 13-14 with the first two rounds of the NACC Championships.

By the Numbers

5th - Raymond Jordan finished fifth at the NACC Championships, earning his first career All-NACC accolade

3rd - The Eagles placed third at last season's NACC Championships.

9th - Peter Haideman finished ninth at the NACC Championships, good for his first career All-NACC honor

3.70 - Jordan finished with a 3.70 GPA, earning an Academic All-District nod as well as the GCAA All-America Scholar award.
