MADISON – The Edgewood College Eagles women's tennis squad hosted a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Semifinal match at Quann Park Friday. As the second seed, they faced off with the third-seeded Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors with a trip to the finals on the line. The Eagles (15-6) put together a strong 5-0 victory over the Warriors (9-9) to earn their trip back to the NACC Tournament Final.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Cecile Fuchs and Evelyn Taylor set the tone in top billing, earning a 8-0 victory in top doubles. Jewel Lindwall and Cassie Henderson followed it up with an 8-1 tally in third billing.
 
- Ellie Murphy and Madelyn Connaughty finished off doubles with an 8-4 victory in impressive fashion.

- Fuchs continued to roll into singles. She claimed a 6-1, 6-0 win in top billing.
 
- Christina Ekkela clinched the victory for Edgewood College. She won 6-2, 6-1 in the fifth slot.
