MADISON – The Edgewood College Eagles men's tennis squad hosted Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) action Saturday at Quann Park. They battled with the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks. The Scarlet Hawks (8-9, 5-0 NACC) put together an impressive performance in a 9-0 victory over the Eagles (2-13, 1-4).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Caden Nelson and Andrew Hoffmann fell 8-3 in top doubles. Jon Olafsson and Marek Woytasik dropped an 8-2 affair in second billing.
 
- William Faley and Alton Robinson were defeated by an 8-0 margin to send the two teams off to singles.
 
- Illinois Tech continued their strong day in solo action. They took down Nelson 6-1, 6-0 in top billing before Olafsson lost 6-2, 6-0 in the second slot.
 
- Hoffmann dropped a 6-0, 6-0 final in no. 3 singles while Woytasik lost 6-2, 6-1 in fourth billing.
 
- Robinson and Ethan Towne wrapped up the day with 6-1, 6-0 and 6-0, 6-0 losses respectively.

Edgewood College hits the road as NACC action continues. They will face off with the Concordia Wisconsin Falcons in Mequon, Wis. tomorrow. First serve is scheduled for noon.
