Eagles Women's Golf Preview

The Edgewood College Women's Golf team is set to compete in year two under head coach Josh Hentrich. After a year one that saw several personal bests, the squad is looking to continue their improvement and to compete at a high level.

“I am really excited for this season," said Hentrich. “As a program, I believe we took a step forward last year and got better as the season progressed which is something I am confident this group will do as well with the work I have seen them put in preparing for the season.”

2023-24 Women's Golf Schedule

The Eagles will play at four tournaments throughout the fall. They'll play at the Battle on the Border to kick off the season on September 1. The next three weeks each have one event, with the Marian University Fall Invite on September 9, followed by the Wisconsin Lutheran College Quadrangular on September 14. They'll wrap up their pre-championship events with the Midwest Region Fall Classic on September 22, and will conclude the fall with the NACC Championships over the next two weekends.

Head Coach Josh Hentrich

Josh Hentrich enters his second year as head coach of the women's golf program and first year as Director of Golf. Hentrich is an alumnus and four-year member of the Edgewood College Men's Golf program.

By the Numbers

86 - Braxton Brown set a new round career low in the team's final outing of the 2022-23 season at the UW-Whitewater Spring Fling. Her 176 for the event was also a career low.

2nd - The Eagles placed second at the Edgewood College Invite last season

2 - Edgewood College placed a pair of golfers on last year's NACC Scholar-Athlete list, including Braxton Brown.
