At halftime, Cornell led the Eagles 3-1.

- Cornell added the first goal of the third quarter. With 13:46 on the clock, Cheyenne Greenwald added her second goal of the season, increasing the Rams lead to three goals (4-1)

- Edgewood College responded with an unassisted goal from Alex King in the seventh minute. The goal would go down as the first in her collegiate career.

- With 11:13 left in the fourth quarter, a goal from Cece Zanoni put the Rams up 6-2. Edgewood College was determined to respond, finding the back of the net three times in the final 11 minutes. First, a goal from Sanderfoot, assisted by Lily Drinkwine. Just three minutes later, Skaife notched her second goal of the game, this time assisted by Rachel Unitan. Emma Raupp would add a goal in the final two minutes, but it wasn't enough to catch the Rams.
